2. Booking & Payment

• • A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation
• • Full payment must be made before vehicle pickup
• • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments
• • Cancellations made 48+ hours before pickup receive full refund
• • Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) incur a 10% cancellation fee
• • No-shows are non-refundable

3. Vehicle Use & Restrictions

• • Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, or illegal activities
• • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rental vehicles
• • Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly vehicles
• • Off-road driving is prohibited unless explicitly authorized
• • Vehicles must remain within state boundaries unless prior approval is obtained
• • Maximum mileage limit: 200 km per day (additional charges apply for excess)

4. Insurance & Liability

All rentals include basic third-party insurance. Renters are responsible for a security deposit of ₹10,000-₹50,000 depending on vehicle type. Damage to the rental vehicle will be charged based on repair costs. We recommend purchasing our comprehensive coverage for full protection. Rentaly is not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles.

5. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with the same fuel level. Failure to refuel will result in refueling charges at 1.5x the current market rate. Please use the correct fuel grade as specified in the vehicle documentation.

6. Late Returns & Extensions

• • Grace period: 59 minutes after scheduled return time
• • Late returns (1-3 hours): Charged at 50% of daily rate
• • Over 3 hours: Full additional day charged
• • Extensions must be requested 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability
• • Unauthorized extensions may result in additional penalties

7. Traffic Violations & Fines

Renters are fully responsible for all traffic violations, parking tickets, and toll charges incurred during the rental period. Administrative fees of ₹500 per violation will be added for processing. Fines will be charged to the payment method on file.

8. Vehicle Condition & Returns

Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received. Excessive dirt or stains will incur cleaning fees (₹1,000-₹3,000). Any damage must be reported immediately. Failure to report accidents or damage may result in additional charges and void insurance coverage.

9. Breakdown & Emergency Support

In case of breakdown, contact our 24/7 support immediately. Do not attempt repairs without authorization. We provide roadside assistance and replacement vehicles when available. Mechanical failures are our responsibility; damage due to renter negligence is the renter's responsibility.

10. Modifications & Cancellations

Rentaly reserves the right to substitute vehicles of similar or higher class if the booked vehicle is unavailable due to maintenance or other circumstances. We may cancel reservations in cases of severe weather, natural disasters, or vehicle safety concerns with full refund provided.
